Installing the APK
Android asks a few questions the first time you install an app from outside the Play Store. Here is exactly what to tap.
1 · Download the file
Tap Download APK. Your browser may warn that this type of file can harm your device — that warning appears for every APK. Choose Download anyway.
2 · Open it
Pull down your notifications and tap the downloaded file, or find it in Files → Downloads.
3 · Allow this source
Android will say your browser is not allowed to install apps. Tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then press Back.
4 · Install
Tap Install, then Open.
5 · Turn on the assistant
In CherryPick, follow the setup guide: read the disclosure, then enable the accessibility service so it can read offer cards.
If something goes wrong
▸"App not installed" or "Parse error"
The download was incomplete, or you already have a different build installed. Delete the file, download again, and uninstall any previous CherryPick first.
▸Play Protect warns you
Google flags apps it has not scanned before. Tap More details → Install anyway. You can verify the file's SHA-256 against the one on the download page.
▸The overlay never appears
Open CherryPick and check the accessibility service is on. After every update, switch it off and on again so Android reloads it.
